RE: BTWHS Reunion 2026
Hello Booker T. Washington HIGH LIONS AND FRIENDS I hope that everyone is well and continuing to be safe. The world has changed dramatically since our last great reunion in Texarkana. We have experienced the awful effects of the Covid 19 pandemic. Not only did it cancel our reunion planned for Los Angeles. CA in July of 2020, it has impacted the health status of our friends and family. To those Lions and Lionesses that were infected and recovered, I am looking forward to seeing you in July. To the alumni that were called home due to the virus or natural attrition, join us to remember them and carry our traditions forward to the future.
It surely is a tribute to everyone involved (past and present, living and deceased) that the Mighty Lions still admire, embrace, respect and love the wonderful memories we made in the boundaries of Pinehurst and Preston streets. We learned, interacted, excelled, laughed, cried, danced, played sports, fell in love, met soulmates, and eventually ventured far and wide across these United States and abroad. And…. whenever and wherever we come together we continue to bestow honor on our school, community and indeed all humankind.
